ONE CAMPFIRE ON A BEACH
Let the day burn down, then sleep
Campfire Tonight is an app with nothing in it but a campfire on a beach. Gather dry sticks before the sun sets, light the fire, and watch it burn until you drift off. There is no sign-up, and your fire is remembered only on your phone.
Get it on Google PlayGather sticks
Tap the dry sticks along the shore to pick them up. You can gather up to 5 a day, and more wash up after 5 a.m.
Light the fire
Tap the fire pit to make an ember with a bow drill. When smoke rises, tap again to blow on it until the fire catches.
Real time
A stick burns for about 4 minutes and a log for about 30. If you close the app, the fire is counted as burning for that time anyway.
Good to know
There are no menus or buttons on the screen. Press and hold anywhere to open a settings list that is just text. The screen stays on while the fire burns, and the sound of waves, wind and fire plays only while the app is on screen.
Now and then a log washes up on the shore. You can pick it up by watching a short rewarded ad (up to 3 a day), and the ad plays only when you tap again to choose it. There are no banner or interstitial ads. If you want more logs, you can buy a bundle of 10 logs on Google Play.
